Efc has got some similarities in its approach to other interventions, such as need-adapted treatment or cognitive-behavioural therapy in psychosis, as well as the Soteria-model. In this context it is particularly the results of research in need-adapted treatment and on the Soteria-model which have been impressive in relation to its efficacy.
